Perfect Shopping with Lego Duplo & Indigo – GIVEAWAY!

Mamas, have you ever noticed there are very few stores capable of creating the “perfect” shopping experience for everyone in your house?

If our husbands are happy, the store is probably wall to wall tools, a place that fills them with grunting manly tool desire, while we’re filled with “my kid is going to touch something and saw off a limb” fear.

If our children are happy it’s filled with 48 million stuffed animals and brain splitting noise, well that or it’s a china shop filled with teeny, weeny trinkets just begging for little fingers to touch and SMASH.

If we’re happy there is soft playing music, pretty pastel colors and a lady named Helga who doesn’t judge us for the 12″ leg hair and chipped toenail polish – which subsequently either puts the rest of our family to sleep or leaves them ALL with pretty pink polish.

No matter which way you shake it, some days it feels like the “perfect” family shopping experience will never happen.  And then you realize….it can!

One of my most favourite stores, holds all that is necessary to keep everyone in your family blissful.  Through the doors of your local Chapters Indigo store there’s tool books and car magazines for the man in your life, cookbooks, romance novels (and Starbucks) for us sleep deprived Mamas and the Indigo Kids Play area to both entertain and enchant the children in tow.  It’s perfectly simple, easy, fun!

Last week Bethany, Audrey and I, along with my Mom headed to our local Chapters Indigo store.  The girls each had $25 dollars to spend in the Kids Section and they wasted no time in dragging us back there.

Filled with books, crafts, games and a play station, the Kids Play Area has something for every little boy and girl that has the privilege to walk through its doors.   Both girls quickly spotted the Thomas the Train play table and Lego Duplo creation station and were off.

While they were excited to shop and make their purchase, without a doubt the highlight for both girls was being able to play with new toys, to create new things and to dive into their imaginations.

To top off a great trip we discovered that for the month of March ALL LEGO DUPLO is 20% off a deal that’s available both in store and online!  Which thrilled Bethany to no end as more Lego was exactly what she’d been dreaming off.  photo(18)

  1. I would love to get a new cookbook. I’ve had my eye on a book devoted to cookies!

  2. I'd spend it on my boys. They usually choose Lego. Nathan would love playing trains too. We don't have a store nearby sadly. Sounds like you had fun!

  3. I would spend the giftcard on my son. He has his eye on the Lego Imagination book.

  4. I’d buy some parenting books and some French baby board books for my daughter.

  5. I would definitely buy my son some new books and Lego! I think I love building things more than he does right now haha

  6. My 12 year old son loves to read. He is especially into series of books. He is currenty reading the “I am number 4” series and loving it. I would definitely be adding more books to his collection from Indigo.

  7. I would buy Addison some more Tag Junior books because she loves reading them. Also a few books for Jacob to start his collection and probably a magazine for Spencer whether it`s an xbox or a food network would be my choice and then if there`s any money left I`d buy myself a Real Simple magazine or maybe even a notebook because they always have nice ones!

  8. I would buy the family a board game if I won. They have such as awesome selection in store and online.

  9. March 16- If I were lucky enough to win, I would buy gifts for my ggchildren.

  10. i would have to spend it on my children, they love the kids area and rarely leave empty handed lol…so many great items to choose from 🙂

  11. Myself and possibly my goddaughter. We both love reading books together, especially Disney classics
